BEFORECARE INSTRUCTIONS

1. For eyebrow procedure

If you’ve ever hired a professional painter, they will tell you that “it’s all in the prep”. Professional painters know that they get the best results when they spend extra time sanding, filling holes, making sure edges are smooth and applying the right primer.  Well, eyebrow tattooing is very similar.  You will get much better results when you properly prep.It all starts with a good canvas! The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive, and non-irritated.  Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure:

  • Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis several weeks before the procedure you are to completely grow them out
  • Do not tan two weeks prior to the service, or have a sunburned face
  • Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to the procedure
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure
  • Do not have Botox 3 weeks prior to the procedure
  • Do not take Fish Oil, Vitamin E or Aspirin or Ibuprofen one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)
  • Brow color will be determined by the Fitzpatrick skin type chart. The organic colour suits everyone’s skin type perfectly
  • Do wear your makeup on your brows to procedure

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
  • Do not consume coffee or workout before your procedure

2. For eyeliner/ lips / areola procedures

  • Do NOT wear eye make-up to procedure
  • Stop Latisse(eyelash growing serum) 2 days before; you may resume 7-10 days after treatment
  • If you wear contact lenses and are having eyeliner done, do NOT wear your lenses to your appointment and do NOT replace them until TWO DAYS after the procedure
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure
  • Do not take Fish Oil, Vitamin E or Aspirin or Ibuprofen one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)
  • If you have eyes that tear easily it could be helpful to take an over the counter Benadryl or other antihistamines.

Please consult your physician if you are on any other medications or you think you might have any health concerns with these medications.

  • If you are having LIPS done and have had previous problems with cold sores, fever blisters or mouth ulcers, the procedure is likely to re-activate the problem.  We recommend discussing with pharmacist start you on an anti-viral medication 4 days prior to procedure and continue until fully healed-approximately 1-2 weeks after. ASK ABOUT THE RETAIL CHAPSTICK(SPF 15)

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
